Their Anguish, We Are Sharing

We see these people's anguish.
Our hearts, to them, go out.
Like them, we're filled with wonder.
What this is all about.

They lost their friends or family.
With not an ounce of warning.
We join them in their sorrow.
We are with them in their mourning.

This is way too tough to handle.
God's strength, to them, I pray.
That He will give them comfort
and will help them thru each day.

Like them we need some answers.
We need to know just why,
These people, who did nothing.
Why'd they have to die?

The thing that makes it tougher.
Unbearable to dread.
We have no clue who's living,
or who it is that's dead.

The time is passing quickly.
We are losing any hope.
We're with them in their anguish,
if it somehow, helps them cope.
