As if
we didn’t have enough,
to keep us awake at night.
Someone added anthrax to
the letters they would write.
It got
where we’d become afraid,
to open up our mail.
The culprit who’s behind this scheme,
should spend his life in jail.
The
cost of his distorted crime,
cost billions in the end.
Because some sickened person,
sabotaged the mail he’d send.
What is
this world coming to?
What makes these people tick?
How did they get so damned deranged?
How did they get so sick?
To
threaten this great country,
in that frightening, lethal way!
I pray to God that he be caught,
and meant to dearly pay.
