AMERICA UNDER ATTACK |
What I fear — I share with others —
in a sense — that they are winning,
That what we saw the other day
was just the bleak beginning.
More terror is awaiting —
I am fearing what will be,
How much it’s going to change our world,
Its ill affects on me.
Is their plan just getting started,
and what else is, next, to come?
Where is it, they will strike us next?
Will we, eventually, go numb?
Is this, now, a way of life for us,
that we must now adjust?
Is this what it took, to turn to God,
to offer him our trust?
They’ve played their hand; we’ll now play ours.
Let’s see what’s ’round the bend.
If it’s only the beginning,
I am anxious for the end.
