The pride of Manhattan, outlining the sky.
Twin Towers, one hundred and ten stories high.
Mountainous buildings! Thousands employed!
September Eleventh - we saw them destroyed.
An incident worse than you'd ever envision.
Two planes, that were hijacked, crashed with precision.
Hit with such impact the buildings were shaken.
Everything in them was burnin' or breakin'.
The heat so intense that the steel actually melted.
The structure gave way, there were witnesses, felt it.
The building succumbed underneath its own weight.
As it fell with its occupants, sealing their fate.
We watched on T.V. as they fell from the sky.
As thousands, upon thousands inside them did die.
A terrorist act like no other before.
I pray to our God that there won't be no more.
