AMERICA UNDER ATTACK |
The scenes were scenes of horror
as we watched that dreadful day.
We could not believe the sights that we were seeing.
Planes crashing into buildings
as they burst in fatal flames.
Buildings crashing down and frightened people fleeing.
The scene was not improving.
It was quickly getting worse.
And it showed no signs, that it was soon to end.
You could see the living terror
like you've never seen before.
Unlike Hollywood, the fear was not pretend.
It's a never-ending movie.
There are sequels to unfold.
They're unfolding right before our watchful eyes.
We wish that it was over
but we know it isn't close.
As we wait for each and every new surprise.
