The day
of nine-eleven, there were heroes found, galore.
Flight 93, United, carried out a hero’s chore.
They knew the fate awaiting them. The risk of human toll!
Still they knew that they must act, and so they took control.
It must
have been horrific, the events that brought them down.
The fear they all were feeling, as they smashed into the ground.
They gave their lives that others might not perilously die!
They knew success’ importance and they knew that they must try.
The
plane was taken over. They had slashed the pilot’s throat.
Then changed the course the plane was on. These heroes then
took note.
They knew three planes had crashed and they had known the vast destruction.
From there, God put it in their hearts. They followed his
instruction!
From
talking to their spouses they had heard the latest news.
They knew the fate awaiting them from gathering their clues.
The bravest and the boldest said, We need! We will! We can!
Keep this thing from happening. They, then, devised a plan.
To
overtake the terrorists—no matter what the cost!
Knowing they might lose the lives, that, in the end, they lost.
With courage mustered! Hearts a pumping! Hopes that still
remain!
They stood up to the terrorist that overtook their plane.
From
there, not sure what happened. What we know is, lives were saved.
Directly due to passengers—how bravely they behaved.
Somewhere in Pennsylvania, lies a grave mark for the dead.
Who could have sat and quivered, but took action, quick, instead.
May
they always be remembered for the act, they did display.
For all the lives we know they saved, that history-making day.
Please pray for all the families, of the ones whose lives were lost.
May they be a bright example of our freedom and its cost.
