We have waged a war with terror! It’s a different kind of war!
We are faced with this new enemy, like none we’ve faced before.
This one, lives within our country! We have welcomed them as friends!
It starts with very evil roots, and shows no signs of ends!
Like a virus, they’ve been growing, with their biggest motive, hate.
They have struck our land with horror as, their next strike, we await!
Each day we live with wonder, just, how will they strike us next.
So many scum to locate, then to learn how each connects!
We have a man in office that I wouldn’t, dare to trade.
He has turned the terror table! It is they who are afraid!
The boldness and commitment he has taken to this foe,
has been proving, most effective! You can, clearly, see it show!
There is no-one I would rather have, protecting this great land.
He’s disrupting terror plots, each day! He holds the upper hand!
I know it cuts him deeply for each soldier hurt or dead.
If we could win another way, I know, he would, instead.
We are making forward progress! We have gained much ground, real fast.
It is true, we’ve lost some soldiers, but compared to wars gone past,
Our casualties are minimal when tallying the scores,
Considering how swiftly we have won two foreign wars.
The Russians fought Afghanistan, with fifteen thousand dying.
The war went on ten years until, they finally gave up trying.
Iran did battle with Iraq! About a million died!
After all those lives and cost, they wound up being tied!
Then came along America, once push had come to shove,
In less than two short years, we overcame both the above.
Our losses, in the hundreds. I am sad for those who’ve died!
It could have turned out so much worse, had we have never tried!
Al-Qaeda’d still be organized, just as they were before.
They still would be, the threat they were! Perhaps a little more!
Now we’ve got them on the run, disrupting their whole plan.
We pulverized the Taliban and freed Afghanistan!
Saddam is out of power and democracy is near.
Because, our awesome President, did not give in to fear!
The world knows our intentions and the things that we expect.
The countries that once doubted us are showing their respect.
So those of you who criticize him! Think before you speak!
Try seeing the whole picture, ‘fore you blabber your critique.
We’re blessed to have a man like him! Give credit where it’s due!
We have an awesome President, who has an awesome crew!
