Our Beloved Pastor Pruitt

I have been to lots of Churches,
seeking desperate for the truth.
I found a lot of them I liked,
while struggling thru my youth.

A lot of different sermons,
I have heard these Pastors preach.
Not one could hold a candle
to the Truth our Pastor’s teach.

Our Pastor, Jeffrey Pruitt,
tells the truth and tells it bold.
The way that Christ had written it!
Commanded it be told!

He ruffles up our feathers,
but he does it for our sake.
He speaks the Word we need to hear.
The truth is hard to take!

He’s funny when he wants to be,
when humor does apply.
One moment you’ll be laughing!
The next one, you might cry.

He tugs upon your heartstrings
as he does it with God’s Word.
His vision is a giant one.
This man’s, by many, heard!

His faith is undeniable.
His love and how he serves!
This poem could not begin to give,
the credit he deserves.

You have to come and hear him.
Once you do you’ll be amazed.
You’ll know it’s God that’s speaking,
thru this man that I have praised.
