We Did the Right Thing

Despite the U.N.
and their lack of support.
We did the right thing
with our fighting resort.

I’m not one for war
but it’s called for at times.
Saddam’s sick regime
and their hideous crimes.

Could not be allowed
to continue to reign.
To further the torture!
Their murder and pain!

When all’s said and done,
I would bet my last dime,
That we had brought justice
to infinite crime.

Freedom is being
restored to a land,
Who’ve suffered because of
Saddam’s ruling hand!

It’s soon to be over!
Watch—you will see.
Iraq will, in time,
be a land of the free!
