Put Into Your Body (only) What Is Good
I know you like munchies, like candies and chips.
Be wise, what it is, that you pass thru your lips.
God gave us a body to nurture and feed.
There’s foods to avoid while there’s others we need.
Stick to your veggies. Your fruits and whole grain.
Nourish your body, by using your brain.
Stick to the food, God intend you be eating.
Don’t beat yourself up if you catch yourself cheating.
Your diet’s important. Remember this fact!
You eat the wrong foods and your health will react.
Minimize fatty foods. Not too much meat.
Keep in mind, always, “You Are What You Eat”.
Avoid lots of sugar. Especially refined.
Your body will treat you well. Please treat it kind.
Abstain from the junk that is harmful to you.
Eat only what’s healthy, and thoroughly chew!
Things that are bad. Let me name you a few.
Here are some habits, I pray you won’t do.
Cigarette smoking is purely insane.
Tarring your lungs while your teeth collect stain.
Alcohol’s poison. Stay clear of its touch.
It, often, is lethal, when folks drink too much.
Keep a clear head and I swear you will find,
The happy God offered and peace in your mind.
Drink lots of water. Be constantly flushing.
Take time when you eat, there is harm found in rushing.
Throw in some exercise. Build while you lose.
Your health is whatever, it is, that you choose.
