I’m Going to Keep It Clean

I can say this ‘bout my body,
or my bedroom where I sleep.
I am going to get it clean
and that’s the way that they will keep.

I’m going to help my parents out
by being very sweet.
To help them clean the house up
and to help them keep it neat.

I have some chores assigned to me
and others I’ve been finding.
I do them, now, quite naturally
and I don’t need reminding.

I leave things as I find them.
That is how I stay on track.
Whenever I use something,
I am sure to put it back.

My teeth, my hair, my face my desk!
Our car our home, our yard!
Are all right now completely clean.
It hasn’t been that hard.

Instead of leaving messes
every place I choose to play.
I clean them up when I am done
and do it right away.

I’m going to be a neatnik,
unlike any kid you’ve seen.
No matter what it is I have,
I’m going to keep it clean.
