The news came early on Sunday morning January 20th 2013
A day your family will never forget
We really didn’t understand the pain you lived with
Not having the cure for you we do regret

Bipolar is a sickness that people who have it only really know
We tried to help you as we could
But our lack of knowledge and frustration
Has made us very sad today

Your dad and mother loved you very much
They did their best to help
If only we had the answers
You would be with us today

I know our dad will be there
When heaven opens its gates
He will be the first to meet you
And hold you in his arms

Good bye father, son and brother
We are sorry for your strain
God will be there for you
He has taken away your pain
