I said a prayer for you today.
That grace and strength would come your way.
And as I prayed it came to me.
You have them, both, inside of thee.
I changed the prayer that I was praying.
Instead I ask God start displaying,
how much strength, you have right now.
Where to use it! Why and how!
I also needn’t pray for grace.
I see it when I see your face.
God’s given you so very much.
You’ll find it in the lives you touch.
You have the grace! You have the strength!
And they will take you any length.
Be thankful for these gifts of yours.
And God will open, bigger doors.
Instead I’ll pray, true joy on you.
God’s blessing hand in all you do.
On days when strength is hard to find,
Just ask of me, I’ll share you, mine.
