The Devil will deceive you.
Disappoint you and delay you.
He’s never going to leave you.
Nor, he, never, will obey you.
He does not want us, succeeding.
When we’re called to go God’s way.
He gives us thoughts, misleading,
And he leads our lives astray.
This Devil needs deterring,
Let us start on him today.
Let, Christ, your heart, be stirring,
To be rid of the Devil’s decay.
Life is too brief! I say this, truly.
Your best, completely, please give it!
Don’t let it treat you cruelly!
God intended that you “LIVE IT.”
With Satan you are dying,
Being kept from the Father’s Will!
Have Faith in life and dying.
Put, to work, that given skill.
Don’t fall to his distractions,
nor give up on your devotion.
You’re just a couple fractions,
from that touch of God’s promotion!
So long as your behavior,
Is in line with that of God’s.
So long as you’ve a Savior,
You can beat the Devil’s odds.
Stay focused on the Blessings,
God has gave to set your goal.
Stay true to your confessings,
Let His Spirit in your soul.
Success has got your name on it.
Why don’t you come and get it.
Believe and make your claim on it.
It’ll happen if you will just let it!
