The Bible is God’s Holy Word.
It’s often read. It’s often heard!
The message told, throughout the land,
is follow Christ and His command.
His Word, He said, to share with others.
With fellow sisters! Fellow brothers!
To go and share the Gospel story.
That they, like you, will seek His glory.
Souls are being lost each day.
For them, we, truly, need to pray.
They need a little Christian sample.
We need to set a good example.
Like Christ, our lives must be portrayed.
To share this price that he had paid.
That others might receive his grace.
And meet you in his promised place.
It’s all about the love you show.
To all you meet! Where all you go!
Thoughts of self will make you nervous.
Thoughts of Christ will lead to service.
The purpose that he made for us!
The price that he had paid for us!
Was all for, just, His one intention.
His Gospel message you will mention!
I hope I’m clear—you understand!
What Christ had meant with his command.
Forget how you had, once, behaved.
Start winning souls and get them saved.
At first it might be somewhat strange.
It’s worth it when you notice change.
It’s worth each ounce of feeling odd.
When friends and family come to God.
So get to work, there’s fish to land.
It’s time to answer Christ’s command.
Don’t put it off another day.
Too many sheep have went astray.
You just might be their only hope.
Christ ordered you. Don’t tell him “nope.”
His news is good. Get out and share it.
You’ve got his name. Go, proudly, wear it.
It’s time to fill our churches’ pews.
We’ll fill them fast. Just share his news.
Live out your life as he had planned.
By following him and his command.
