The way that I best understand it,
is that Jesus paid all of our dues.
I don’t know how you comprehend that.
To me, that is awful good news!
It’s the message that Jesus was sent here!
He came here as God in the flesh!
To take all the sins that we carried!
To erase them and start us out fresh!
It’s the news that persuades every Christian,
to accept Christ as Savior and Lord.
It’s the facts of our sin and its wages.
Of the price we could never afford.
It’s the love of the God of all mercy.
The story of sending us grace!
God’s Word and the story of Jesus!
His suffering and his disgrace!
It’s a story that, well, is worth telling.
A story, God meant, we should share.
The news that our lives have a meaning!
Relief from a world of despair!
The truth and the way to redemption!
A life changing, story, indeed!
A way to escape Satan’s bindings!
A way we can fin’ly be freed!
If you’ve read it and grasped what it’s saying.
Then you know it’s God’s love, meant for all.
If the spirit was with you while reading,
then you must have heard God and his call.
His message, in case you don’t get it.
Is to share what it is you have learned.
To everyone that you can share with,
that their souls might be, likewise, returned.
Good news is so worthy of sharing.
This news that we have is the best.
We must do it without hesitation,
that others, like you, will be blessed.
We must tell it with total conviction,
that no-one will question or doubt him.
These people will not know of Jesus,
unless you start talking about him.
