Imagine for one moment,
that you left your body’s shell.
That Jesus moved inside of you
and stayed a tiny spell.
The changes you would notice,
would be big or would be small.
Would you turn around completely.
or, perhaps, no change at all.
More than likely you would notice,
a more pleasant, caring person.
Who’s mind was not mislead with lust.
Who’s tongue let out no cursin.
A kinder, softer, truer you.
A you that, once, existed.
A you that’s at your fingertips,
A you that you’ve resisted.
If you wear the label, Christian,
Better check the way you’re living.
Be wary of the life you live,
What, back to Christ, you’re giving.
You’ve asked him in your heart,
but you are living, now, in sin,
if you’ve asked, for him to enter,
but, you haven’t let him in?
