You believe in evolution, you say.
From an ape, you believe you evolved.
A big bang in the beginning's your theory.
You think that you've got it all solved.
From the murk and the mud's where your ancestors came from.
That's what you have chose to believe.
By accident's how you have entered this world.
By accident's how you will leave.
A whole bunch of cells got together one day.
They were bored and they needed a change.
So they formed a committee of how they would do it.
They all had ideas to exchange.
They wondered and pondered, discussing the details,
Came up with a wonderful plan:
We can bond as a unit and slowly but surely,
we'll evolve into something called man.
If that's your belief, tell me where lies your hope,
for you and the rest of mankind?
If you've ended your search with that fairytale myth,
there is truth that you never will find.
That thinking is shallow, forgive me for saying.
No way that, by chance, are we here.
I've weighed all the options. I've looked at them closely.
The truth to me's vividly clear.
No way we arrived here, in all of our splendor,
so perfect and well orchestrated;
No way we evolved from a singular cell.
We had to be, somehow, created.
To think that there's nothing beyond what we see,
with no doubts or no questions remaining,
To accept what man says thru his research and theory,
and all of his foolish explaining...
If you truly believe, you evolved, as I said,
I've a bridge I am wanting to sell you.
On the other hand God, as he wrote in his book,
has the truth. He is anxious to tell you.
Your soul is at stake, as is your well-being.
Don't wait til you've waited too long,
To learn in the end, when it's time to be judged,
that the theory you had was all wrong.
In the end, if I'm wrong, my life I've not wasted.
I filled it with many good deeds.
I found peace and joy. Love and happiness too.
I satisfied all of my needs.
I'll have left many memories and touched many hearts.
My life will, by no means, be wasted.
While you, with no hope of the life that awaits,
go thru life with much fruit, you've not tasted.
There is one road to follow. You must make the right choice.
Your soul and your life are at stake.
Where you go in the end, all depend on your choice,
of the road you decide you will take.
I hope you'll think hard as you make your decision,
which road do you feel you belong?
Keep in mind what's at stake. What eternity holds!
Where you'll go in the end if you're wrong.
