At a church in Beloit they call New Ark,
I witnessed a drama last night.
The struggle between good and evil.
Some winning, some losing the fight.
It played on my deepest emotions.
God’s presence was there, without doubt.
We witnessed folks walking with Jesus.
We witnessed folks walking without.
It taught us a valuable lesson.
One we, so often, have heard.
We saw, acted out in that drama,
the power of Christ’s holy Word.
Unlike other teachings before this.
This one stuck down, deep, in my mind.
My life was revealed right before me,
as though, up ‘til now, I was blind.
I’m sure many lives were affected.
Mine was affected for sure.
I’ve lately been slipping in spirit.
Last night was a wonderful cure.
It set me on fire for Jesus.
It shined a bright light in my life.
It lifted the burdens from which I’ve been struggling.
Lifted a bunch of my strife.
My friends were affected, much, likewise.
Something was different last night.
We all had a wonderful evening.
Our hearts were all filled with delight.
We felt more devoted to Jesus.
Felt closer in every way.
To the cast at the New Ark Christian center,
I speak for us all when I say.
You guys did a wonderful job there.
I firmly believe in your cause.
I know Christ is proud of your efforts.
My guess, that he shares my applause.
The lives you are touching are many.
Continue to do what you’re doing.
I think that I might come and join you,
to help what it is you’re pursuing.
God’s blessing is surely upon you.
Our prayers are behind you as well.
Thanks to the job you are doing,
there’ll be lots less people in Hell.
Your ministry has so much power.
Your outreach is doing it’s trick.
I know you are making lives healthy,
where once they were spiritually sick.
Your Church is alive and on fire.
Refreshing! Inspiring too!
You surely are making a difference,
by doing those things that you do.
Thanks for the message you’re sending.
Please know that it has been received.
For hearts and for souls you are mending.
For all that your program’s achieved.
I pray God continues to bless you.
I pray you continue to grow.
I pray for the programs and people.
That through them Christ’s spirit will show.
That lives will be changed for the better.
That all that you do remains steady.
From what I experienced Sunday,
my prayers have been answered already.
