It’s no wonder that this world’s in the condition that
it is.
There’s so many problems out there to be solved.
The problems will remain there. Fact, they’ll probably get much worse,
if people don’t help out and, somehow, get involved.
Just look at all the sickness! All the hunger! All the poor!
All the sin that we’re exposed to every day.
The first thing you can do to help! The very, very least!
Is to hit your knees each morning, as you pray.
The more you pray, the more you hear. God talks to you! He does!
If you listen hard you’ll hear his guiding Word.
The message that he sends to you, will go a bit like this.
Child, I need you out there rounding up my herd.
Too many sheep have strayed too far. They will not make it home,
if you do not go and take some time to find them.
Once you do, please bring them back. They know where they should be.
They just, sometimes, need a friend to go remind them.
The world’s a pretty crazy place! The picture is so sad!
We’re in need of change! There’s no way that you can doubt it!
Don’t complain, how bad it is! Get involved! Heck, start today.
For there’s surely something you can do about it.
Use kinder words! Try smiling more! Be nice to all you meet!
There is joy that you will find in doing so.
Reach your hand to others, when they need a helping hand.
You’ll be blessed wherever you decide to go.
The more you get involved, concerned. The more that you will do.
The more you’ll see, things needs some rearranging.
As you try to change the world, you’ll start to feel extremely good.
You will notice how you, likewise, too are changing.
A change, that’s for the better! No more selfish, shallow thinking!
You will take your focus from yourself to others!
You will find the joy that God provides, as you fulfill his mission.
Going out a bringing home you long lost brothers.
If you share my way of thinking, God’s anointed you somehow.
If you don’t you better search you heart, with wonder.
Perhaps you fallen, likewise, into Satan’s evil spell.
His influence is the one you’re living under.
For God is love! God is kindness! God is, truly, good!
God is reaching out to you, as I am speaking.
His heart is breaking for you! He is wanting in your heart!
It’s your soul that God, so desperately is seeking!
Yes, this world is full of problems! We can choose to add to them!
We can stay attached to all our sick possessions!
We can tread upon our brother, if it helps us reach our goals.
Never seeking answers! Never asking questions!
Or we can walk the path of righteousness. Reaching out, sincerely,
from a pure, renewed, refined and earnest heart.
We can change the world we live in. We just need more people helping.
Don’t you think that it is time you did your part?
