Where would you go, if right at this moment,
you laid down and quietly died?
What are the goals that you haven’t accomplished?
Do you have some loose ends to be tied?
What would it be, you would do a bit different,
if you had it all over to do?
Would you be remembered, by friends and by fam’ly,
the way you had wanted them to?
Life is so short. There are no guarantees.
You must give it your all, you can give.
If I had just one word of advice I could share,
I guess I would tell you to live.
Live out your dreams! Reach your goals, share your passions!
Do it with zeal and with zest!
It isn’t important how well that you do it.
What counts is, you do it your best.
Live every day, like it might be your last.
Who knows, there’s a chance it just might.
Avoid doing things that you know you’ll regret.
Don’t argue, don’t fuss and don’t fight.
Have patience! Show kindness! Give help to your brother.
Do it with love and concern.
Give from the heart, to the people who need it.
Expect nothing back in return.
Do unto others, only the things,
that you’d have them do unto you.
And you will leave many fond, beautiful memories,
once your life’s over and through.
God is your guide, if you’ll just do his will,
there’s one thing on which you can bet.
One thing you won’t leave behind when you go.
You will never leave any regret.
