As a man speaketh, so goeth his life.
It’s written in God’s Holy Word.
You’re judged by your actions. The things people see.
The words you have spoke that they’ve heard.
The fruit that you bear is dependent upon,
The way that your life has been living.
Are you quick to cast judgment and frown on another,
or loving and patient; forgiving?
It’s important while speaking, what rolls off your tongue.
What you say, please be, always, aware.
How things will unfold, which turns life will take,
Depend on the things you declare.
If negative words are all that you have.
Then negative’s what you’ll receive.
If your tongue is in line with God’s will for you life,
If it’s something in which you believe.
Then good things will come to you.
Happy will find you. No longer will it be a pursuit.
Instead of influencing others to sin,
You will bear Godly, spiritual fruit.
If you’ll listen to God he’ll distinguish the diff’rence.
Between what is right and is wrong.
Follow the path that he lights as he leads you.
He’s with you and has been all along!
It isn’t too late, to turn from your ways.
Give him the reigns in each thing that you do.
God will forgive all your earlier days.
You’ll bear much good fruit once that God’s made you new.
God is the truth and the light and the way.
Your tree can be dead or alive.
Whatever you choose, determines your fate,
When you die, where it is you’ll arrive.
You’ll touch many lives as you go down life’s road.
Remember each one has a soul.
Let them see Jesus in all that you do.
Make it clear he has total control.
If they see a big diff’rence, they’ll likely respond.
If, no longer, you’re poorly behaved.
When good things start happening, as you declare them.
There’s a good chance they, too, might get saved.
