Each soul that God created he had made to shine some
light.
To be a beacon in the dark! To make the pathway bright!
That makes us much like lampposts. If our lights are dark or dim!
It’s ‘cause we didn’t take the time to, truly, get plugged in.
We need to find our calling where our strengths and weakness lies.
Where it is we best fit in. Our strength! How it applies!
We need to be in ministry, somewhere, somehow, some way!
Serving God’s what it’s about. Consistently each day!
Our church, now, offers inner-net, to help us find our way.
To show us where we’re suited and what part that we might play.
Our church depends on people getting plugged in where we need them.
That is when the Father will begin to truly feed them.
By touching hearts of others you will find your heart transformed.
By knowing that you made a difference. Seeing their hearts warmed.
God makes note of each kind deed that’s done in his acclaim.
Come judgment day, the King of Kings will know you by your name.
Don’t hesitate one moment. Plug yourself into this church.
God’s called you for a mission. We will help you in your search.
God gave us his commandment, to devote our lives and serve.
In Heaven, there’s a spot for us, God’s promised to reserve.
So if you haven’t done it yet, it’s time that you get going.
You’ll find each day, how much in Christ, that you are truly growing.
So if you haven’t taken it, it’s time that you’d begun.
You’ll shine so bright and brilliant as you imitate God’s son.
You’ll meet the other ministers. The ushers at the doors!
The ones who teach our children! Lead the music! Do the chores!
You’ll hear the Pastors vision!. How you just might get involved!
You just might be the answer to a problem that needs solved.
I’ve heard all of their stories of their service for their Lord.
How deeply runs, their passions! Their immediate reward!
This church has lots of openings to help us as we grow.
There’s something here for everyone. Please come that you might know.
Where it is that you best fit! The strengths you have to share.
In four short weeks, you’ll learn a lot. By then be more aware.
Of what God’s plan can do for you; by loving, helping others.
It brings us closer to our Lord. Our sisters and our brothers!
The plan has been unfolded come and see where you fit in.
The busier you are for God, the less time you’ve to sin.
Father please anoint this poem that people will respond.
That as one great big family, this church will surely bond.
