Go to a Meeting

Feeling like using or having a drink?
Just a bit tempted, or well on the brink?
Just keep in mind who it is you are cheating.
Call up your sponsor or go to a meeting.

Don't try to justify what you are craving.
Don't make excuses and start misbehaving.
Go to a meeting and do some revealing.
Share what you're craving and how you are feeling.

Maybe you're lonely. Perhaps you're upset.
Please don't do something that you will regret.
You know of the price that you, dearly, will pay.
Go to a meeting and get through the day.

Using won't solve any problems existing.
Meetings will help you stay strong in resisting.
Go to your meetings. They'll help you get well.
Using will only return you to Hell.

Nothing else works in these times of despair.
Meetings surround you with people who care.
Though you may feel at the end of your rope,
Going to a meeting will give you new hope.
