DEALING WITH ADDICTION |
What I've found in my using, thru people I've met:
That using will leave you with so much regret.
The thing that's most common, that's hard to deny:
While using, your life's one continuous lie.
Most people we know, cannot deal with what's true.
Avoiding the truth, makes a liar of you.
Your life is a secret of piling up lies.
Myself, I got tired of my lying disguise.
The sad part of all of this lying you do,
Is that folks won't believe you, even when it is true.
You might have a heart that's as pure as can be.
Still, it's all of the lying that people will see.
So before you continue to lie thru your youth,
Give some hard thought to the God's honest truth.
The truth sets you free. It is time that you face it.
Your lying identity. It is time to replace it!
It takes a big person to face this tough fact.
Like me, if you're tired of your innocent act,
Then take a firm stand, and real soon you'll agree:
The truth is the answer to setting you free.
